The role requires a valid driver’s license, background check, and the ability to report incidents clearly. It’s a full-time position with a pay rate of $24.74 per hour, and schedules include afternoon/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in security or frontline roles.
• Experience with access control and badge procedures preferred.
• Comfortable using computer/tablet devices for reporting and communications.
• Must meet age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screening will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a transportation-focused government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, support access control activities, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation facility.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of station areas, platforms, entrances, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for restricted areas in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
