Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and patients. Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, donors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
