Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Guard Corporate Site Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA to protect clients across healthcare locations and other sites. This unarmed patrol position requires a driving license and provides a visible, customer-focused security presence with professional communication.

The role includes rotating night shifts, patrol duties, and coordinating with site management to deter incidents and ensure safety.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

As a Security Guard Corporate Site Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and donors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare collection location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Help maintain an orderly environment by providing directions, communicating professionally, and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
