Qualifications

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Proof of high school diploma or equivalent required
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
