Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD. You will protect clients in healthcare settings, conduct patrols, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, strong customer service, and the ability to respond to incidents with calm, professional action. The schedule is night shifts based on the posted hours.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proof of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances and parking areas, and report conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Proof of high school diploma or equivalent required
