Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a dedicated security professional to provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients while performing security procedures across a commercial site. You will respond to incidents, monitor access, and conduct patrols to deter unauthorized activity.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required, as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document observations and actions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial properties to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization, reporting suspicious conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating with tenants and Allied Universal personnel.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, or security-related issues to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating professionally with tenants, visitors, first responders, and Allied Universal personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
