Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time security professional in Corpus Christi, TX. The role involves unarmed patrols of commercial properties, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents per site policies. Strong customer service orientation and basic computer use are preferred.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a background check. A guard card/license is preferred; willingness to undergo drug testing and licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property representatives by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior or incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for leadership and property management.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur - 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri - 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat - 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun - 07:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site policy.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for Allied Universal leadership and property management representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
