Allied Universal is seeking a dedicated Security Officer Full Time Patrol Deterrence in New York, NY. You will provide superior customer service to students, staff, and visitors while conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible deterrence to incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include customer service and strong communication skills.

• Background check and drug screening are mandatory per policy.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and notify responders as directed.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity per procedures.
• Complete logs and incident reports maintaining professionalism on campus.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.40 - $21.40 / Hour

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, facility issues, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic educational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
