Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time) for Patrol Badge Management in Chantilly, VA, at a logistics and distribution site. You will patrol, deter incidents, manage badges, and support access control while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires unarmed security duties, adherence to site procedures, and effective communication with staff, visitors, and drivers. Excellent attendance and reliability are expected.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Complete required activity and incident reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Badge Management in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle lots, entry points, trailers, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
