Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location, including buildings, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and complete required reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, policy violations, and hazards to site management and leadership.

As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the logistics and distribution location, including buildings, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting visitor and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
