Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Mornings in Davenport, IA to protect clients across industries, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service. This role focuses on visible patrols, incident reporting, and urgent response to alarms while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

You'll work mornings, engage with employees and visitors, and follow site procedures to deter incidents and support operations at a technology-focused location.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, office areas, parking facilities, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and help maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders.
