Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Davenport, IA. You will provide customer service, deter incidents, and monitor access points at a technology-focused location, building a safe and welcoming environment. Schedule Tue 9:00 PM–5:00 AM and Sun 9:00 PM–5:00 AM.

Pay rate $18.80/hour. Must be 18+, high school diploma or equivalent, background check and drug screening; licensing may apply.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
