Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver for a Full Time position in Coralville, IA. The role includes driving to patrol diverse tech/media/telecom facilities, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering exemplary customer service while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology, media, and telecommunications facilities, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials as directed by site procedures and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting activities as required.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a customer-focused environment.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
