Allied Universal’s Olive Branch, MS location is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Mobile Security Operations. You will monitor zones, perform routine patrols, support access control, respond to alarms, and deliver professional customer service to employees and visitors.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Security Operations in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology-focused location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed activities accurately in required logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
