Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Austin, TX. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible deterrent, and assist tenants and visitors, with a focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a background check; hours are daytime shifts, Monday through Sunday, with a set schedule and opportunities to support a welcoming environment on site.

Competenze

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and assist with directing guests in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
