Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.

• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and document information.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols in retail areas, parking facilities, and exterior perimeters.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mall Patrol Driving Role in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or client representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting relevant information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, property rules, and traffic or parking-related concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity while providing courteous assistance in a dynamic retail and shopping center environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
