Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out access-control procedures and alarm/incident response at a hotel and resort location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and coordinate with hotel contacts and emergency services.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, guest areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Assist with security reports, shift documentation, and communication of hazards or unusual activity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and report unauthorized access concerns in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hotel contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, guest-facing areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Assist with security-related reports, shift documentation, and communication of observed hazards, policy concerns, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
