Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required by policy.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents and visitors, and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Communicate professionally with residents, management, and emergency responders, and complete required incident reports and activity logs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents and visitors, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or delivery records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property management, and emergency responders, and complete required incident reports and activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
