Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the location by verifying IDs, credentials, and visitor/contractor entry requirements.
• Monitor entry/exit points, maintain access logs, report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Perform regular patrols of access points, facility areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying identification, credentials, authorization, and visitor or contractor entry requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate access logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
