Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer for a full-time position in Fremont, CA. You will monitor assigned areas, perform patrols, and support access control while delivering exceptional customer service to clients across various industries.

Position type is Full Time with shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM on Tue–Sat. Pay rate is $22.52 per hour, with Smart Tools, career growth, health and retirement benefits, and exclusive perks

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

As a Security Officer supporting an automotive location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting access control and site procedures. Pay Rate: $22.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
