Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time NYS Licensed Patrol Inspection in New York, NY. You will serve and safeguard clients across industries, monitor and patrol assigned areas, and provide professional customer service.

The role requires a NYS Guard License and at least 1 year of security experience; 18+ for unarmed roles. Pay rate is $18.87 per hour. Schedule includes evenings and weekend shifts as listed.

• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government social services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
