Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a front desk in a healthcare setting by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Welcome patients, visitors, staff, and vendors; provide directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials, and support visitor-management procedures.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations calmly and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitors, access activity, incidents, and other security-related matters.

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a healthcare location, you will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence for patients, visitors, and staff. You will manage access, support visitor check-in, monitor security-related activity, respond to questions, and help maintain an orderly environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service at a front desk in a healthcare setting by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Welcome patients, visitors, staff, and vendors; provide directions and general information while maintaining a professional and compassionate presence.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials as required, and support visitor-management procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitors, access activity, incidents, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Vaccinations are required for hospital positions.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
