Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer for a Full Time Front Desk position in Bloomsbury, NJ. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents in a healthcare environment.

Pay rate is $20.05 per hour. Schedule centers on night shifts Sunday through Thursday, providing professional experience in a welcoming, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a healthcare facility front desk by greeting visitors, patients, vendors, and staff in a professional manner.
• Manage visitor access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access records, and following site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry points, access control systems, and security-related communications, reporting unusual activity or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by providing directions, answering routine inquiries, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
