Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Gated Community in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to residents, visitors, and staff. You will support a welcoming environment while helping to deter security-related incidents through professional communication and attention to detail. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community access points, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access activity, unusual conditions, and policy violations, and promptly communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
