Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Visitor Services in Los Angeles, CA. You will greet residents, visitors, and vendors, manage access control, and provide outstanding customer service at the lobby.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen per policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and clients at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the property by greeting guests and verifying authorization.
• Answer calls, provide directions and site information, route inquiries.
• Observe lobby activity, report security concerns, and support access-control procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while following site-specific procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the property by greeting guests, verifying authorization as directed, maintaining visitor records, and communicating entry requirements.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general site information, and route inquiries to appropriate building personnel.
• Observe lobby and entry activity, report unusual conditions or security-related concerns, and support access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when directed.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
