Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Highrise Reception in Los Angeles, CA. You will greet guests, manage visitor access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

As a visible front desk presence, you will deter incidents and support a safe, welcoming guest experience. A high school diploma and security experience are preferred; licensing where required may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front desk policies.
• Greet and direct guests, maintain a professional front desk presence, and assist with access-related questions.
• Monitor entry activity, verify authorized access, and document visitor information and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and guest concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Maintain logs and reports for incidents and shift communications.

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a hotel and resort location, you will welcome guests, manage visitor access, monitor security-related activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will serve as a visible, approachable presence, helping to deter incidents while supporting a positive guest experience. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, front desk policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet and direct guests and visitors, maintain a professional front desk presence, and assist with access-related questions in accordance with location procedures.
• Monitor entry activity, verify authorized access as required, and document visitor information, deliveries, and other front desk activity.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for incidents, access-related activity, and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
