Job summary

Allied Universal® in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Security Guard to manage visitor flow, badge creation, and access control while delivering excellent service in a professional environment.

The role is full-time with a schedule of 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The pay rate is $20.10 per hour. Successful candidates will meet minimum requirements, including a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen visitors, verify appointments and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain entry records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, and cameras; report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents following escalation and notification procedures.
• Answer calls, provide directions, and assist with inquiries at the front desk.

As a Security Guard Full Time Visitor Registration Desk in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, and provide outstanding customer service. Using computer or tablet systems, you will support a professional, secure environment while communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and staff. Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify appointments and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, and camera systems, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, answer incoming calls, provide directions, and assist with tenant and visitor inquiries.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
