Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Access in Binghamton, NY. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff, manage access, monitor entry points, and maintain a secure, welcoming environment at a healthcare location.

In this role you will respond to incidents, document visitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service while following site procedures and confidentiality requirements. The position offers day/evening shifts and a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Background histories considered in line with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Staff the front desk and greet visitors, verify identification and appointments as required, manage visitor access, and provide directions or assistance.
• Monitor entry activity, access control systems, alarms, cameras, and communications equipment, reporting unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while handling confidential information professionally.

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
