Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Lobby Entry Coordinator in Orangeburg, NY to greet visitors, manage access control, issue badges and monitor alarms while supporting staff, patients, and guests.

You will join a patient-focused security team that emphasizes customer service, safety, and integrity. Flexible day/evening shifts available with comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor access to the facility and deter unauthorized entry by following visitor management procedures and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate information to leadership.

Pay Rate: $16 - $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 08:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor access to the facility and help to deter unauthorized entry by following visitor management procedures and reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site-specific response procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to healthcare staff and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
