Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Front Desk Security Officer in Hicksville, NY. You will greet visitors, control access, monitor systems, and provide exceptional customer service at a healthcare location.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to visitors, patients, vendors, and staff at a healthcare front desk by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with facility requirements.
• Monitor entry activity and access-control systems, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established response procedures.
• Communicate clearly with facility staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related incidents, policy questions, and daily front-desk activity.

What You’ll Do
