Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
• Monitor the front desk, visitor sign-in process, incoming calls, and communications systems; verify visitor credentials and direct guests to appropriate contacts or areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and incident records in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Support a professional front-desk environment by reporting suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and security-related concerns to site leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Kankakee, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain an orderly environment by monitoring entry activity, responding to security-related concerns, and supporting site personnel. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or applicable license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
