• Assist with traffic flow, parking-related concerns, and tenant support activities as directed by site procedures.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and communicate relevant information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with traffic flow, parking-related concerns, special events, and tenant support activities as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
