You will perform regular interior and exterior patrols, monitor entrances, deter incidents with a visible presence, and respond to incidents per emergency procedures. The role emphasizes service, safety, and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, entrances, public spaces, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, directing individuals to appropriate service areas and reporting concerns to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following emergency procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations to supervisors and client representatives.

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

• Mon: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, directing individuals to appropriate service areas and reporting access concerns to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to supervisors and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
