Qualifications

• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• 4 years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, guests, staff, and vendors at a cultural institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of public areas, exhibit spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional information, and support an orderly environment during events, programs, and daily operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Support security-related operations by reporting maintenance hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, staff, and guests with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $23.58 / Hour

• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 4 years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
