As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $23.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, guests, staff, and vendors at a cultural institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout public areas, exhibit spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit during events, programs, and daily operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 4 years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
