Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, registering visitors, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining entry/exit records.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and important situations calmly, following site procedures and communicating concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas, and production zones to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document daily activities, events, and observations in required reports and coordinate with site contacts and leadership as needed.

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control in Vineland, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor and employee activity, and help maintain a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns while supporting a smooth operation. Job Schedule:

• DayTime Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thu 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, registering visitors, issuing temporary access badges, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and promptly communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized entry.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations in required reports, and coordinate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
• Possess CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
