Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Entry Control Driver in Easton, PA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor security systems, and patrol facilities to deter incidents.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ (21+ for armed roles), and a high school diploma. A background check and drug screen are required. Pay rate is $18.50 per hour with a flexible day/evening schedule.

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges when authorized, maintaining visitor logs, and directing arrivals to the proper check-in process.
• Support vehicle and shipping and receiving access control by monitoring gate activity, validating delivery and pickup documentation, and coordinating with site contacts for authorization.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards.

You will remain visible, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond to concerns with a customer-service mindset. Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
