As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology data center location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to help maintain a secure environment and help deter security-related incidents. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and manage access control points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Support data center operations by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, reporting irregularities, and communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
