Allied Universal in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Command Console to protect clients at a technology data center. The role focuses on controlling entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access, and supporting incident response while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work a part-time schedule with pay at $26.06 per hour, and participate in our shift-claim platform to claim shifts and explore new roles.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.

• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor entry processes, and document access-related activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of data center facilities, access points, business areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-control records while supporting a professional and service-oriented environment.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM


• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.


• Possess a college degree.


• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
