Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Service Ambassador in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document activity using technology. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity at a data center location, verifying credentials and documenting entry and exit activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and exterior infrastructure to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while supporting a professional and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
