You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and support access control while delivering outstanding service to employees and visitors.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises, per site requirements.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor/contractor check-in.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and communicate with supervision.

Security Officer Full Time Entry Access

In Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor and contractor check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activities accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
