The role includes coordinating communications, monitoring access control, and dispatching resources for security-related incidents at a financial institution location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, and incidents to appropriate personnel or responders.
• Monitor systems, cameras, access activity, and alarm notifications; document incidents and dispatch actions per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalations through reporting channels.
• Maintain dispatch logs and shift communications; support patrols around the business and perimeter.

As a Security Officer Full Time Emergency Call Management in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Professional at a financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor access control and alarm systems, document activity, and dispatch appropriate resources for security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, and other security-related incidents to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor communication systems, cameras, access activity, and alarm notifications; document incidents, requests, and dispatch actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting regular and random patrol activity around the business and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
