Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Dispatch Center in Newark, DE. You will provide customer service, monitor security systems, and coordinate responses to incidents at a financial institution location, with a focus on safety and protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor alarm systems, cameras, access-control notifications, and communications; dispatch appropriate personnel and coordinate responses.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and relay routine and emergency calls for service calmly and professionally.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports per procedures.
• Communicate with on-site personnel, management, law enforcement, and emergency responders during incidents.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor alarm systems, cameras, access-control notifications, and incoming communications; dispatch appropriate personnel and coordinate responses to security-related incidents.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and relay routine and emergency calls for service in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Communicate with on-site personnel, management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed during incidents and critical situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
