Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Electronic Credentialing in Fremont, CA. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, manage access control, and provide exceptional customer service at an automotive manufacturing site.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, proficiency with access control, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
