Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Emergency Support in Fremont, CA. The role involves patrolling, reporting, guest and employee assistance, and upholding site security for an automotive manufacturing environment.

This full-time position pays $22.52 per hour and follows a daytime schedule across Thu–Sun shifts. Candidates should have at least 1 year in security, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking locations, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and completed activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
