Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Route Security in Bessemer, AL. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a strong presence while delivering excellent customer service.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and involves coordinating with site personnel, responding to incidents, and preparing detailed activity reports. The position offers full-time hours with a daytime to early-morning schedule.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while following site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, access points, and parking areas.
• Monitor access by checking credentials and documenting entries/exits.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential security-related issues.
• Monitor access to designated areas by checking credentials, verifying visitor authorization, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established protocols.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
