Job summary

Allied Universal in Columbus, OH is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol - Warehouse to safeguard client facilities across Retail/Malls and related sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service while following site procedures.

The role requires a valid driver's license, comfort with computers/tablets, the ability to lift 20 pounds, and a willingness to work a daytime schedule with rotating

• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and following procedures.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports for management.

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol - Warehousein Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail location clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, adjacent areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.


• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.


• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help deter unauthorized activity, theft-related concerns, and policy violations.


• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
