Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the property and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications professionally.

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol Perimeter Checks in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, observe and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns, and assist with visitor and contractor access procedures.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
