As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Control in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while using technology to document observations and support daily operations. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.


• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.


• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Preferred experience with access control and badge systems.


• CPR certification is preferred.


• Preferred ability to comfortably use a computer or tablet.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
