Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver in Perris, CA. You will patrol, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering outstanding customer service and reflecting Allied Universal’s values.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and safety concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions.
• Verify credentials and monitor access, document visitor activity, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate hazards and security concerns to site management.

As a Security Officer Driver in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observed hazards, damaged property, and security-related concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
